We regret to inform our membership that we were notified by Perch Base Life Member, Holland Club Member, and Past Base Commander Jim Denzien
that his wife, Mary Denzien, passed away on January 20, 2026. Our condolences to Jim and his family.
Most Perch Base members will remember Mary routinely attending meetings and events with Jim and her
participation in the Perch Base Ladies SubVettes.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the
American Legion Post 29
6822 N. 58th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301
Numerous members of Perch Base joined Jim Denzien to celebrate Mary's life, including Steve & Susan Day,
W. Howard & Dalene Doyle, Chris Gahan, Dave & Hila Heighway, Mike Hinderliter, Dan Marks, Paul Miller,
Stan & Jane Reinhold, Kevin Sheehan & Nancy Conway, and Joe Trotter.
