Perch Base USSVI participated in the Memorial Day Ceremonies at the National Cemetery of Arizona, including Tolling of the Boats, on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Governor Joy and Howard Doyle conducted the Tolling of the Boats ceremony. The following photos are from the both the Memorial Day Ceremony and the Tolling of the Boats.

Thanks to our COB, Don Robertson, who repainted the USS Phoenix (SSN-702) and brought it out for Tolling of the Lost Boats Ceremony at the Mark 18 Torpedo Monument in the Purple Heart Circle.

After the main ceremony, Perch Base conducted the Tolling of the Lost Boats Ceremony at the Mark 18 Torpedo Monument in the Purple Heart Circle. The Mark 18 Torpedo Monument was placed by the U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II. Special thanks to Bob Gilmore who polished up and repainted the torpedo earlier in the week.
