Davy Jones Quilt of Valor
Perch Base members Don Unser and Richard Kunze conducted a ceremony to award Life Member Davy Jones a Quilt of Valor on August 13, 2016.
The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting
and healing Quilts of Valor. This quilt, titled "Anchors Aweigh," was pieced and quilted by Ms. Helen Choma, mother-in-law
of our former member Steve Leon who moved out of the area, but still remembers and appreciates Davy.
