Phoenix Veterans Day Parade
Perch Base took the USS Phoenix float to the Phoenix, Arizona, Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Our own Perch Base member, Charles (Chick) Marshall was the Parade Grand Marshall for the Cold War Period.

Our own Perch Base (and Holland Club) member, Charles (Chick) Marshall was the Parade Grand Marshall for
the Cold War Period. He was nominated by his daughter, Amy Satterfield. Nominators provided complete
write ups about who the Veteran was, where they served, what conflicts they were in, the medals they earned,
how their military service impacted their life and touching requests about why they should be selected as a
marshal this year.
