Our Guest speaker, for the November meeting will be John Dudas, a Regional VA Representative
for the State of Arizona. Mark your questions down, as John is very versed in the workings
of the Veterans Administration.
John is also a Life Member of USSVI and Gudgeon Base

GENERAL MEETING INFORMATION
Perch Base meetings are on the Third Saturday of each month.
The exceptions to this may be in the Spring, when we have our annual picnic,
Fall, when we meet in another town, usually Prescott, and
  December, when we have our annual Christmas/Hanukkah party.
The Christmas/Hanukkah Holiday Party for 2008, will be posted on this site by September 1st.

Arizona Sub Vets once again were asked to join with APS-Palo Verde in the 2007 parade. Many of the Arizona USSVI Perch Base members were present and a grand day it was. 
A "Hand Salute" is in order to Sandy Headrick. 
Budget cuts severely restricted APS-Palo Verde assistance in this years parade. Sandy pulled plenty of tricks from up her sleeve. Not only did she get free Tee-Shirts, but she wangled coffee, donuts prior to and pizza and drinks afterwards.
We of USSVI Perch Base say ........ Thanks !!!

Brent Nelson

At this time, Brent is the only member of 
USSVI Arizona Sub Vets Perch Base on active duty
He is starting his second hitch and signed up for 6 years. At the same time he was advanced to MM2(SS). All members of Perch Base send Brent a "Well Done" and wish him every success. Brent serves aboard a Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine homeported in San Diego.
